Sharma has a Fine Arts degree and has also studied at the Sorbonne, Paris, Oxford University, England, the University of Toronto, the Ontario College of Art and Design, and Savannah College of Art and Design. She has spent over twenty years painting and sculpting while teaching art at college and university in Toronto and more recently in Beaufort and Hilton Head Island, SC.
